Gatwick update: departing flights leaving from South Termnial

Gatwick have announced that all departing flights would now be leaving from its South Terminal. Severe weather conditions caused a power failure in the North Terminal causing widespread disruption to passengers who faced delays checking-in and were unable to access toilets, coffee shops and restaurants.


Gatwick Airport power problems

Several thousand passengers have been stranded at Gatwick Airport following stormy weather overnight. Easyjet cancelled 38 flights and a number of others have been delayed. No trains were running from or to the airport for most of the morning because of fallen trees on the line.
