General transport strike is planned by the transport unions for 24 hours for Tuesday, June 9.
As with the similar strike on March 30, it would (if it goes ahead, like the last one did) involve all airplane, bus, subway and train travel. No public transport. Avoid arranging travel for that day, or the hours before it. Long distance buses leaving the day before, but not scheduled to arrive until June 9 will probably be cancelled. As it comes closer to the date and becomes more sure, the airlines will probaly announce options for rescheduling flights, though some left it very late last time. Read more:
