A train accident has just occurred near the small town of Gimigliano, near the city of Catanzaro in southern Italy. According to the first news, there has been a collision between two trains, along the track between Catanzaro and Cosenza.
The rescuers have reported that six passengers have been injured, two of whom are serious. They have further added that they are encountering difficulties in their operations, as the region is mountainous and therefore, quite difficult to reach.
