Airport employees have threatened to suspend their activities on March 21 unless a promised salary scale hike is referred to parliament where it is expected to be enacted.
After a series of sit ins in various locations, including several ministries and a controversial seaside projects, hundreds of protesters staged on Friday a sit in at Rafic Hariri International Airport.
Teachers from public and private schools have been demanding higher wages for over a year and a half.
