From media reports: Living in Greece is reporting that the latest 24-hour countrywide general strike is expected to affect public transport on 19 December.
Both suburban and long-distance trains will be cancelled during the strike, and the metro link between downtown Athens and the airport will also be suspended.
Demonstrations are also scheduled for Wednesday, including two union protest marches that will commence in Klafthmonos Square and end in Syntagma Square in central Athens.
