A COLD front is forecast to clear Beijing of the smog that forced the cancellation of more than 600 flights in recent days, said the China Meteorological Administration. Fog warnings were issued for Beijing from the afternoon of December 4 until this morning, during which time a US Embassy monitoring station reported “very unhealthy” pollution levels.
