Skynetblogs.be: Oct 27: The Transport Workers Union (TWU) has confirmed that one-hour stoppages will be held at airports across Australia on Friday. Baggage handlers and ground staff in major airports including Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth and Canberra will walk off the job for an hour at various times during the day.

SYDNEY – Qantas passengers face major disruption as aircraft engineers walk off the job again in Sydney for 4-hrs on Friday (14th).

MELBOURNE – Travellers warned to arrive early to Melbourne Airport tomorrow (13th) as customs officers go on strike again. Customs officers will walk off the job for 4-hrs from 7am, followed by another 4-hr stoppage from 9pm.
