Japan Hit By 7.3-Magnitude Earthquake Off Fukushima Prefecture Coast, Tsunami Advisory Issued
(Reuters) – A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck 231 miles east of the Japanese island of Honshu on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
A U.S. Pacific tsunami warning center said there was no destructive widespread tsunami threat following the quake.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says that there is “no widespread tsunami hazard” for this quake.
