Canadian Press, Sat Feb 11, 2012 8:45 am TORONTO — Air Canada (TSX:AC.B) has reached a tentative contract agreement with its 75 flight crew schedulers.
The Canadian Auto Workers union, which represents the schedulers, said Saturday the deal was reached Friday night.
It comes just weeks after union members voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action, if necessary.
The 75 schedulers are based in Montreal and are represented by CAW Local 2002.
The deal will be presented to them for ratification next week.
Earlier Friday, the airline announced a tentative agreement with its 8,600 mechanics, baggage handlers, and cargo agents.
