G-20 SUMMIT IN ST. PETERSBURG 05.09-06.09.2013
St. Petersburg is hosting the G-20 Summit 2013 in the dates 05-06.09.2013. The summit itself is taking place in the
Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna, located between St. Petersburg and Peterhof
The summit is expected to gather most of the heads of state of the G-20 countries, large official delegations and large
contingents of journalists and other mass media people
There will be some various disturbances in the operation of the airports and the working hours of museums and we have so
far the following information:
– Airport Pulkovo-1: Will stop accepting regular passengers on 04.09.2013. The terminal will resume normal operations on
07.09.2013 at midnight.
-Airport Pulkovo-2 will operate as follows:
04.09.2013 till 12:00 will serve only domestic flights. 12.00 – 23.00 the airport will be closed. 23.00 – 00.00 will serve only
domestic flights.
05.09.2013: 00.00-08.00 will serve only domestic flights. 08.00-17.00 the airport will be closed. 17.00 – 23.00 will serve
international flights. 23.00-00.00 the airport will be closed.
06.09.2013: 00.00 – 12.00 will serve only domestic flights. 12.00 – 00.00 the airport will be closed.
07.09.2013: 00.00- the airport will resume normal operations.
– Peterhof park and museums are closed from 15:00 on 04.09.2013 and full day 05.09.2013
– Oranienbaum (Lomonosov) park and museums are closed full day on 06.09.2013
-There is expected to be traffic disturbances on the road St. Petersburg – Strelna ? Petrodvorets ? Oranienbaum in the period
02.09-07.09.2013
– As most of the official delegations are accommodated at hotels in the centre of St. Petersburg we expect some general
disturbances in the traffic in the city 04.09-07.09.2013, but there is no information from the authorities about this matter.
