At 2:34 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing dime to nickel size hail. Strong thunderstorms have formed over eastern Toronto and are tracking southeastward. Hail has been observed 2 cm in diameter along with heavy downpours.
