Bali provincial administration informs tourists, mainly foreign tourists, not to visit Bali on the Hindu Day of Silence, Nyepi, on March 31st, as the Balinese will be observing Nyepi with various pre- and post-rituals.
Tourists intending to vacation in Bali should rearrange their trips in advance or postpone them because during Nyepi all modes of transportation will not be allowed to operate. All access to Bali, via the airport and its harbors, will be closed for 24-hours from 6am to 6am the next day.
