UNITED KINGDOM – Northern England – A huge swathe of the country is braced for the gusts, bringing crippling blizzards over high ground in the North. The Met Office issued a severe weather warning for much of the country on Thursday. A low pressure system is set to move across the UK with a large part of the country in for strong winds from Wednesday. Monitor the weather network as travel delays are expected.
