SEF – Immigration and Borders Service, announced a strike, between 23 and 25th of November, which may cause delays on National Airports.
According ANA- Aeroportos de Portugal, it is scheduled a partial strike of SEF-Immigration and Borders Service, on 23rd, 24th and 25th of November, which may affect the border control on arrivals and departures of intercontinental and non-Schengen flights.
To avoid delays caused by this situation, we recommend all passengers, with flights booked for these days, departing from Portugal, to arrive at the airport earlier than usual. We also inform passengers arriving to national airports that abnormal waiting time on border control may occur due to this strike.
Passengers with electronic identity documents are advised to use the Electronic Passport Control machines.
