CAIRO: Pilots for national carrier EgyptAir on Thursday ended a brief protest after the civil aviation minister promised to meet their demands for better pay, the official MENA news agency reported.
The pilots began a sit-in earlier on Thursday, calling for an increase in salaries and more benefits.
The protest disrupted several flights out of Cairo, airport officials said.
Civil Aviation Minister Wael al-Maadawi had gone to the airport for talks with the pilots shortly after they began their strike.
