AF: Flight disruption should remain limited

AIR France said that it is doing all it can to limit the impact of flight disruptions on October 26 following a call for strike action organised by the CGT union, representing its ground staff.

In a statement issued by the airline it said that on October 26, it expects to carry all its passengers to their final destination and that disruptions to flights should remain limited to a few delays.

The airline continued to say that in the case of a disruption to flights it will do its best to inform affected customers directly by telephone, SMS or email.

To be notified personally, Air France recommends that all customers check that they have provided their contact details while travelling (mobile phone or email). This information can be entered on the website www.airfrance.com, on the Air France mobile site (http://mobile.airfrance.com), the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone apps, via the “Consult/Change your reservations” section.

This free “AF Connect” service is available in 10 languages to all passengers worldwide.

Information concerning flights on the current day and the following day can be consulted at any time:

– On the Air France mobile site (http://mobile.airfrance.com) and on iPhone, Android, Windows Phone apps, in the “All flight schedules” section.

As stipulated by the French law relative to the organization of service and information to airline passengers, Air France will provide an update on its flight schedule on October 24.
