Message for U.S. Citizens: Rome (Italy), Transportation Strike Alert (October 2)

Various Italian unions have called for a 24-hour transportation strike Tuesday, October 2. The strike will affect Metro, buses, trams, and all other local transport (Roma-Lido, Termini-Giardinetti, and Roma-Viterbo). All runs will stop from 08:30 and resume from 17:00-20:00.
The U.S. Embassy in Rome advises all U.S. citizens to check the media for schedules and updates concerning public transportation.
