Netglobers.com Unions of companies in charge of airport security have called for a strike in all French airports on Friday, December 16th. The strike is likely to cause long queues at security checks which might trigger flight delays. However, negotiations to advert the strike are on-going.
The strike was called by the CFTC as well as the CFDT, CGT, FO, SUD and UNSA unions, which represent around 10,000 workers. They demand salary increases and better working conditions.
Listen to local and international media in order to get updated information about the evolution of the situation. If the strike is confirmed, allow more time for travel on December 16th.
