AN explosion at a holiday resort near to the Turkish city of Antalya has killed one person and injured two others. The blast follows a recent escalation of violent activity in Turkish cities by Kurdish militants. The explosion left one person dead in the Turkish resort town of Kemer, near Antalya, on Friday. Two other people were hurt in the blast, the state-run Anatolia news agency reported, although their injuries were described as minor. According to reports, a suicide bomber detonated the bomb outside a military police station in the town. Last week, three people were killed and 15 were wounded in a car bomb explosion in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
