Mexico – Exercise high degree of caution
Presidential elections are scheduled for July 1, 2012, and travellers can expect related violence throughout the country during the electoral campaign in 2011-2012. Canadians are strongly advised to remain vigilant, avoid large crowds and demonstrations, exercise caution, follow advice of local authorities, and monitor local media.
