- Dominica is a small island, part of the British commonwealth, and arguably the most lush island in the Caribbean. It is a mountainous island, with extensive rain forests, waterfalls and sulphur springs. We docked at Roseau, and then arranged an island tour along with some others on our ship ($20 USD/person for a 2-hour tour). We had a good, knowledgeable driver and the scenery is spectacular. Drivers have to be good to negotiate the narrow winding mountain roads.
- Another enjoyable evening at the pool restaurant. The prime rib eye cooked on the hot stone was perfection. The seas were rough though and the water splashing back and forth in waves in the pool was like a tsunami. Before long, the pool was emptied.
