Fiji: earthquake S of Ndoi Island: “lightly felt”

A magnitude 6.4 quake has struck Fiji.   The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the 572km-deep quake struck 19km south of Ndoi Island at 4.08pm NZT.   The quake was lightly felt and there was little likelihood of casualties or damage, the USGS said.   No tsunami alert was issued.   http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11646198
