Mumbai welcomed us as a bustling city should. It was alive, vibrant and a lot of fun. It has all the energy of a London or New York, all the colour and spice of the other cities of India, a great ocean shore, wonderful hotels and beautiful people and things to see. A wonder.
I loved the city, enjoyed the people, but ran out of energy to complete this blog in a timely manner. Suffice it to say I would return any time I got the chance to India, and also to Mumbai. Namistay.
One thing I experienced at the end of my trip was the first class lounge in Frankfurt. Travelling typically on travel agency special fares, which aren’t available in first class, I have never used the first class lounges that Lufthansa offers its first class passengers, but this trip, I was travelling with a client who we managed to get the first class trans Atlantic flight upgraded to First, from Business, for no additional cost, so he took me in the First Class lounge as his guest. The difference between the Business Class lounge I usually use, and this one, was dramatic. Much more space for everyone, and waiter service of coffee. A full buffet breakfast, (or lunch or dinner at those times), a spa, and a great selection of newspapers and magazines. First class is a huge jump from business class pricewise, but the onboard experience I know is great, and this lounge should be the icing on the cake.
