Warsaw: Airport evacuated on Tues due to bomb threat

The Warsaw international Chopin Airport is being evacuated on Tuesday after receiving a call, warning that a bomb has been planted in the building, local media reported.

According to the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, evacuation of both terminals is underway and flight delays are expected.

Local police have reportedly confirmed the information on the evacuation.

Earlier in the day, another Poland’s Warsaw Modlin Airport  received a warning on security threat. No explosives have been found on the site.
