Eurostar strike threat from Mar 25 (Easter Weekend)
The popular train service may be halted after employees declared they would be walking out over alleged “victimisation” of a union representative.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union announced plans for the strike action from March 25.
And more than 100 senior members of staff based at London’s St Pancras station are expected to join the ranks.
Staff are fuming that a train manager has been forced to single-handedly oversee a train along a section of the Eurostar route.
The union claimed that working alone on the tracks is unsafe and that she is well within her rights to refuse.
