NE US, Eastern Canada: snow

A storm is finishing up its wintry task in the Northeast on Groundhog Day, causing major travel delays and disruptions to daily activities.

Close to 100 million people have been be hit with accumulating snow or enough wintry mix to make for slippery roads from the storm. The storm has delivered 12-18 inches of snow from Chicago to Detroit and ranks as some of the biggest snowstorms on record in these cities. Read more:
