LAS VEGAS – Numerous police officers and a SWAT team are at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino where an armed man is threatening suicide, Metro police said.
The man is reportedly in a room at the hotel. Several nearby hotel rooms have been evacuated. Police were called to the hotel at Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue around 6:30 a.m.
Audrie Street, east of MGM Grand, is closed to traffic while police investigate.
