Chicago: Snow Storm predicted for Friday Jan 20

Palatinepatch.com: The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Chicago area for Friday, Jan. 20, 2012.

“Snow is expected to develop over northwest Illinois around daybreak Friday and quickly spread across northern Illinois,” the National Weather Service stated.

Palatine could see between three and seven inches of snow Friday. The National Weather Service states that the heaviest snow is likely to fall from Friday afternoon into early Friday evening “when snow fall rates of up to one inch per hour are possible.”
