Royal Caribbean introduces Royal Wedding package

To celebrate the upcoming British royal wedding, Royal Caribbean International has introduced an exclusive Royal Caribbean wedding package for couples wanting to get married at sea.

The Royal Wedding package offers engaged couples, or those looking to renew their vows, the opportunity to have a symbolic ceremony on-board one of the cruise line’s 22 ships.

The package, available to purchase through December 2011, commemorates the couple’s big day, April 29, and starts at US$2 904. The cruise line also has launched a new honeymoon registry, providing a go-to spot for family and friends to help make a couple’s dream of a perfect honeymoon cruise a reality.

The wedding package offers the couple a wide range of royal wedding essentials including a tiara for the bride, a 12-rose hand-tied bouquet, strawberries and champagne, toasting flutes and keepsake server, each engraved with a crown, and dinner at the captain’s table.

Also included is a dedicated wedding planner, photographer, boutonnière, save-the-date announcements and a tiered wedding cake. On the Royal Caribbean honeymoon registry, friends and family can donate to the couple’s honeymoon cruise by contributing towards a dinner at a speciality restaurant, a couple’s massage or a zip line excursion.

Couples can add all the on-board activities they’d like in the new registry, where their family and friends can even contribute to the cruise fare and help make the dream of travelling to far-off places a reality.
